Who I am
I am a performance-obsessed, hyper-focused endurance athlete, and I bring just a little chaos with it.
I've been moving my body since I was 8, and it all started running cross country in muddy Bristol fields. Everything since has just been me finding new ways to get obsessed with the sport I'm into at that moment.
Before 2025 I'd never raced a road bike. Since then I've won the three biggest gran fondos in Europe, La Marmotte, L'Étape du Tour, and L'Étape du Tour Femmes.
Before the bike, I spent a year as a trail runner, until my pelvis had other ideas in March 2025. Eight weeks on crutches, mostly spent googling “can you still be an athlete if you can't walk to the fridge.”
Cycling was meant to be rehab. It was not meant to become a personality trait. I entered La Campilaro that July on a whim, mostly because I missed being competitive and slightly because I wanted an excuse to buy a new kit. I won. A week later I won L'Étape du Tour Femmes too. I have never been more surprised or more delighted.
Now I do both, badly organised, obsessively trained, and entirely serious about the racing part.
I am an athlete who chooses not to be defined by what society or the sport expects of me.
I love the process of working towards goals that scare me, learning new skills, and taking you along for the journey.

The road ahead
The 2027 season
Cycling Weekly called me “the best female gran fondo racer in the world right now”.
I’d like to know whether they were right, or just being kind.
Five moments I have to get right, building to one Sunday in August.
Mallorca 312
The only gran fondo I didn’t win this year. Can I go 30 minutes faster in 2027? No woman has ever gone under nine hours. I think it might just be possible.
Route des Grandes Alpes
Lac Léman to the Mediterranean, 720km and 17,100m, in a single push. Two targets: fastest woman ever to do it, and reach the sea before the sun goes down on the longest day of the year. I can pace one of those. The sun doesn’t negotiate.
La Marmotte
Six days after reaching the sea, I have to defend a course record. That is either the best training block of my life or the worst decision I have ever made.
L’Étape du Tour and Femmes
Three on the bounce already. The field gets stronger every year, and now they know who I am. Two more makes five. The interesting part is working out what I have to get better at.
Dates provisional until the Tour route presentationGran Fondo World Championships
Forty minutes from my front door, on roads I ride every week. If I am the best in the world at this, that is where I have to prove it. If I am not, I will find that out in front of my family and everybody I train with.
I might not win any of it.
And that’s ok.
Join me on the journey, through the ups and the downs of my biggest season yet.
August 2026
La Dame Blanche
I tried to ride 331km around Mont Blanc through the night, then start UTMB the same day. 507km, back to back. Nobody had done it before.
I found out where my limit is instead. 473km in, at two in the morning, thirty-four short of the finish, my legs simply stopped.

I document everything properly, on film and in writing. If your brand belongs in that, I'd like to hear from you.
